Resupix FAQ

Resupix is an app to capture all your experience, skills, education, goals and heroes that showcases who you are that can be shared with anyone, including potential employers, be creating your own unique URL. It's a visual profile you can build over time to showcase yourself, connect with others and send your live profile to anyone using the web profile function..

Using your phone, you can upload the images you have or create a video on your phone to upload into your visual profile to demonstrate who you are. Each time you learn a new skill or get recognition at work, get a photo of your achievement, and upload into your Resupix profile. Over time, build a image based profile to get your next job.

  • My Experience : experience is just what it sounds like. It's all the experience that you have had in your work life. If you are an accomplished dog walker and a pretty good babysitter, make sure to include images or videos of you performing these tasks. Volunteer work, part time jobs, even refereeing sports teams, performing in school plays, being part of a team or playing a musical instrument all help develop your experience. These are all experiences that help an employer understand who you are.

  • My Skills : This section of your Resupix profile gives others a snapshot of your abilities, allowing them to see if you match the jobs requirements at a glance. Think about the skills you have gained in daily life. Talk to people who know you well for a different perspective. Show your strengths in images and videos that highlight your capacity for growth and opportunities. This could include the patience you have learned from umpiring sports games managing parents on the sidelines, it could be the skill of playing a musical instrument that has taught you the benefits of 'practice makes perfect', or it could be the skill of photography that has taught you to elements of design to provoke interest. Try and capture your images with a few words that describe what you have learned in the process.

  • My Education: Highlight your academic qualifications and achievements here. Include a logo of your school or university. Relevant coursework. You don't need a degree to be able to list education on your Resupix profile. The education section of Resupix helps potential employers build a picture of your qualifications for the job. Include here awards that you have received from school, have you participated in school events that you could include, this doesn't just include academics, because some of us aren't. But we all go to school or TAFE. What books have you studied that you liked? Caption what they are and why you like them.

  • My Interests: This is a great way to showcase who you are and add personality to your Resupix profile. Interests are ideas or subjects that interest you, fascinate you, and things that you may want to learn more about. They can include hobbies and activities that may be relevant to the role that you are applying for and help you to stand out from other applicants. This could include sports, music, travel, reading, writing, computers, creating, art, and so on. Try and caption what you like or have learned from your interests.

  • My Friends: Friends make excellent references and help you to learn what kind of person you are. Some employers may even ask you at an interview "how would your friends describe you". Use this category to showcase your friendships and who your support team is.

  • My Heroes: This category is an excellent opportunity to tell others about what inspires you and who you look up to most. Including images of your heroes helps people to see who you are and to understand what characteristics and values you might bring to the team. Caption why these people inspire you. What traits do they have that you admire? Do you want these traits too?

A series of images, captions and videos can tell a story about someone that a resume just can't. In most cases there will be a number of candidates that on paper are relatively equal, but a visual profile will give a recruiter the ability to gauge culture fit of a candidate and prioritise to reduce time. And for the many employers that recruit for culture fit and train for skill, Resupix is the only way to really see a candidate.

Our data is stored with AWS which is a well renowned global data management company. Data is securely stored. Only people that you agree to connect with can see your data or when you send your URL to someone.

Just export the link directly into the application, via email, or directly into your resume if you still use the old fashion way.
